Description

In this article, Ursinus students are chastised for their lack of interest in the country's affairs compared to their interest in foreign affairs. Specifically, a major source of contention, according to the author, is how he perceives how Ursinus students care not for the fact that the nation is being wrecked by a depression, nor do they care for the causes of this depression, or what has since been done to repair the economy. This author believes that should college students care more about the depression, they'd gain the knowledge to prevent such economic woes in the future. The word of the day, according to this article, is "action," not "idleness."
