Bears Making a Difference
The Unity House was home to many students and faculty. It was a place for under represented students to feel safe and able to learn in an inclusive environment about relevant world issues surrounding the topics of race, ethnicity, and sexuality. Since the beginning of the Unity house, many students have been able to embrace campus diversity, advocate for more student rights, and challenge existing administration policies that have given unfair or not given rights to under represented Ursinus Students. These examples of brave students demonstrate Ursinus's capability to give all different races and all sexualities equal opportunities at Ursinus College. Their inspiring actions and stories prove that Ursinus has a bright future for providing equity and equality to all students.
