History of Racism at Ursinus

These sources that have connetions to racism at Ursinus and give an idea to why the Unity House needed in the first place. The house was an essential space for under-represented students of different ethnicities and genders. Clubs like the GSA, SUN, Feminists in Action, ALMA, and several others all met at and utilized the Unity House to talk, connect, and share ideas about how not only to make the Ursinus Campus a better place, but the community. Our group found it necessary to add instances of racism and exclusion that occured throughout Ursinus's history, as they provide evidence that Ursinus and its students operated under white supremacy and faculty administered a racist institution.
