After graduation, Carol Clark Lawrence went to serve on the Ursinus Board of Directors. This is remarkable given Ursinus’s lack of inclusion of Black female voices only two decades prior. This source highlights the pererverance and tenacity of Black womyn on campus; this evident in 2018 too.
