Dr. Kendi, an assistant professor of African American history at the University of Florida is of the most well-known speakers the program has invited to speak at Ursinus College. For his most recent book, Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America, Dr. Kendi was awarded the 2016 National Book Award for Nonfiction.
