General Athletics
Basket Ball
Despite men's baseball and football getting their own pages in the Ruby, the women's basket ball team is listed under general athletics. They are lumped together with tennis, a sport that women also played, commencement day sports, and the general feeling of Ursinus students towards sports.

Girl's Basket Ball Team Photo
Basket Ball
A photo of the members of the women's basket ball team. There seems to be some sort of age gap between some of the women, which makes me believe that some women were from the Ursinus Academy. Note the dresses that the women are wearing are what they had to play in.
Girls' Basket Ball
Basket Ball
A list of the members of the Girls' Basket Ball team with both the first and second team and the positions for both. They also include games they've played and the scores. The use of Girl's as apposed to Women's is interesting - may be because not all of the girls were Ursinus College students and some may have been in the Academy.

Basket Ball
A students drawing in the Ruby for the Basket Ball team. It is a play on the word bawl, as in a baby bawls. I also interpret the baby to represent the sport being new to campus and only being in its infancy.
